When we were asked whether we wanted to exhibit at SPOGA Horse 2026, we were at a very early stage.
The idea was clear.
The vision felt strong.
Our conviction was there.
But the platform itself? It didn’t exist yet.
What we had was a concept — and Benedikt’s promise:
“I’ll build the system you have in your head.”
So we started.
We launched a landing page to measure interest while building the actual platform in the background. Then the SPOGA invitation came — and we immediately knew this was our opportunity to test the idea in the real world.
Second thought:
Can we create a proper landing page in just two weeks?
It was ambitious.
But nothing happens if you don’t start.
Two Weeks. No Sleep. A Lot of Rectangles.
Those two weeks were intense.
Late nights. Endless refinements. Design tweaks. Technical decisions.
And one week before the fair, I came down with a severe flu and high fever.
Was Benedikt nervous?
Did I do everything humanly possible to stand at that booth?
The answer to both: yes.
As a developer, Benedikt was never fully satisfied with a “two-week landing page.” And honestly, I believe he will always find something to optimise — no matter how good it already is. For two weeks he basically thought in wireframes and rectangles, while I occasionally had to bring him back to reality.
But what he built in that short time was incredible.
We Had No Idea What to Expect
Would anyone take us seriously?
Would the equestrian industry see value in what we are building?
Would we be perceived as too early — or simply unrealistic?
SPOGA is not a general tech conference.
It is the heart of the equestrian industry.
And that made it even more exciting.
What Happened Next Surprised Us
We were overwhelmed — in the best possible way.
We had meaningful conversations with managing directors of well-known companies.
Riders were enthusiastic.
Stables asked how they could become pilot partners.
Partnership opportunities emerged on the spot.
But what stood out most was this:
The question was no longer if this idea would work.
The question became how much we should build.
We did not just receive positive feedback.
We received feature requests. Concrete ideas. Real needs.
It became clear that what we are building is not “just” a platform.
It is evolving into infrastructure for a digital equestrian industry.
What Comes Next
Now the real work begins.
We are analysing the feedback.
We are prioritising features.
We are focusing on building a strong foundation before expanding further.
Not everything at once.
But everything with intention.
We are deeply grateful for every person who visited our booth, every conversation, every critical question, and every idea shared.
SPOGA Horse 2026 was more than a trade fair for us.
It was proof.
The equestrian industry is ready for digital transformation.
And so are we.
