What are Iberian Horses?

Iberian horses stand 148–175 cm tall and appear in bay, black, gray, chestnut, and sometimes dun or palomino. They excel across dressage, show jumping, eventing, cattle work, and parade. These breeds are native to Spain and Portugal on the Iberian Peninsula. Separate studbooks for PRE and Lusitano were established in the 1960s.
