What is PFERD BODENSEE?

PFERD BODENSEE is an international trade fair and public-facing equestrian event for sport, breeding, and horse keeping, held at Messe Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance over three days in February 2028. The reviewed export keeps the confirmed 2028 save-the-date and removes a stale 2026 child entry.

What happens at PFERD BODENSEE?

PFERD BODENSEE 2028 runs across three days, Friday to Sunday, with doors opening each morning and closing at 17:00 on Sunday. Trade exhibitions run throughout, alongside demonstrations in groundwork, liberty work, and horsemanship. The breeding and young horses strand includes a Körung (stallion inspection) as a fixed programme item. The full programme schedule is available on the PFERD BODENSEE website.

Where does PFERD BODENSEE take place?

PFERD BODENSEE takes place at Messe Friedrichshafen, directly on the shore of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg. The exhibition grounds sit right at the water's edge, giving the fair an unusually open setting for an indoor trade event. Friedrichshafen is reachable by car, train, and ferry across the lake. In February, the Lake Constance region is quieter than in summer, the Swiss and Austrian borders are just a short distance away for those combining the fair with a longer trip.

Interactive maps are disabled because they transmit data to Mapbox (US servers).

The Messe Friedrichshafen is served by local bus to the stop Messe West and by train to Friedrichshafen Stadtbahnhof. You can also arrive by car, long-distance coach, or via Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen. From Switzerland, the Romanshorn–Friedrichshafen ferry and the Konstanz–Friedrichshafen catamaran are both options.
