The Trakehner is a refined warmblood standing 160–170 cm, with a noble head and well-formed neck in bay, black, chestnut, or gray. It excels in dressage, show jumping, and eventing, prized for a brave and willing temperament. The breed traces to East Prussia, developed from 1732 with strong Thoroughbred and Arabian influence. It is registered by the Trakehner Verband, with a studbook established in 1947.
