Highlights
Evening horse show
Dressage, liberty work, and horsemanship performed under stage lighting, woven into a story with sets and music. CAVALLUNA runs as a continuous themed show in the evening, not a competition.
Good for families
The show mixes horse artistry with a narrative arc, which works for kids and adults alike.
What is CAVALLUNA?
CAVALLUNA is a horse show production performing "The Colors of Life" at the Olympiahalle Innsbruck in Tirol on 31 October and 1 November 2026. The show combines dressage, groundwork, and liberty work into a staged narrative without competition rankings. CAVALLUNA is built for anyone drawn to horses – whether you've never been to a horse show or have spent years in the saddle. The format tells emotional stories rather than chasing scores: horse and human share the stage in choreographed sequences, sometimes ridden, sometimes not. Tickets are available through the official CAVALLUNA website.

Where does CAVALLUNA take place?
CAVALLUNA takes place at the Olympiahalle Innsbruck in Tirol, Austria. The arena is one of the largest indoor venues in Austria, giving the show's choreographies room to breathe and good sightlines from all sections. Innsbruck sits directly below the Nordkette mountains – if you're making a trip of it, the old town and the Inn river are within easy reach.
Maps disabled
Interactive maps are disabled because they transmit data to Mapbox (US servers).
Travel directions to the venue in Innsbruck are not covered in the FAQs – check the official website's travel or ticketing page before you go.
CAVALLUNA is a ticketed show; seats are booked in advance through the official CAVALLUNA website. Good to know
- Dogs are not permitted at the venue.
- The show runs approximately 2.5 hours; doors open one hour before curtain.
- Three performance slots to choose from: Saturday at 14:00, Saturday at 19:00, and Sunday at 13:00.
CAVALLUNA works well for children from around age 3 – the mix of music, lighting, and horses on stage keeps younger kids engaged. Children under 5 can sit on a parent's lap free of charge and don't need their own seat. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult in line with Austrian youth protection rules. The Saturday afternoon show (14:00) and Sunday performance (13:00) make for a comfortable family outing without a late finish.
CAVALLUNA is a spectator-only format – there is no option to participate as a rider or to bring your own horse. If you're interested in the Stallführung (stable tour): visitors with a wheelchair or other mobility needs can take part; contacting the organizer by email in advance is recommended to ensure a smooth visit. Companions need their own ticket.
The FAQs don't cover returns or cancellations. If your ticket is lost or damaged, contact the ticket provider with proof of purchase – most cases can be resolved. For a heavily damaged barcode, get in touch with the provider directly.
