The Gut Ising Future Champions auction puts spring foals under the hammer. Whether you're there to bid or just to watch, it's worth a place in your schedule.

18 Years Running
The Chiemsee Pferdefestival at Gut Ising has been running for 18 years. That kind of staying power doesn't happen by accident.
What is Chiemsee Pferdefestival?
The Chiemsee Pferdefestival at Gut Ising is an international show jumping tournament in Bavaria, running across two consecutive weeks in September 2026. The competition spans CSI 1 through CSI 5 level, making Gut Ising one of the few venues in Germany to cover the full international FEI show jumping spectrum in a single festival format. For anyone drawn to show jumping at international level, or to the atmosphere around it, this is a strong draw on the shores of the Chiemsee. Alongside the Grand Prix von Ising and Dressage & Classical elements, the programme includes a spring foal auction, the Isinger Marktwoche trade fair and exhibition, and an evening with Bavarian band 14 Hoibe. Tickets are available on the official website.

Where does Chiemsee Pferdefestival take place?
The Chiemsee Pferdefestival takes place at Gut Ising, an estate on the south-eastern shore of the Chiemsee in Bavaria. The grounds bring together competition arenas, a hotel, and restaurants in one place, so spectators and participants stay close to everything without needing to travel between sites. The Chiemsee, Bavaria's largest lake, is right on the doorstep. The Chiemgau Alps form the backdrop, and the wider area around Prien am Chiemsee offers boat trips to the Herreninsel, cycling routes along the lakeshore, and a wide range of places to eat and stay.
