What happens at STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS?

The 40th STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS runs five days — 11–15 November 2026 — with World Cup competitions in Show Jumping, Dressage & Classical, and Driving spread across each session. Doors open at 08:00 each day. On Friday, 13 November, the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTER (VA6) features a show jumping competition with a jump-off, starting at 17:00. The DRESSAGE GERMAN MASTER (VA9) opens Sunday, 15 November at 08:30. Named riders include Isabell Werth, Willem Greve, and Michael Freund. The full schedule is available on the official website.

Where does STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS take place?

The 40th STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS takes place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, one of the largest indoor arenas in Baden-Württemberg. The hall sits in the Neckarpark complex north of Stuttgart's city centre, giving the November tournament a fully indoor setting whatever the weather. Stuttgart is the state capital of Baden-Württemberg, set in a basin surrounded by vineyards, with strong transport links and a wide range of hotels near the Neckarpark. The city centre, with its restaurants and cultural venues, is straightforward to reach from the venue.

Maps disabled

Interactive maps are disabled because they transmit data to Mapbox (US servers).

The Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle is easiest to reach by U-Bahn (U5 or U6) to the stop "Heslach Vogelrain", then a roughly 10-minute walk to the venue. Bus lines 42, 43, and 92 also serve that stop. By car, take the A8 or A81 and exit at Stuttgart-Zentrum, then follow signs to the hall; on-site parking is available, with dedicated spaces for horse transporters – parking fees may apply.

Spectators at the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS attend ticketed day and evening sessions featuring World Cup competitions in a close, arena-style setting, several sessions in the previous edition sold out. The stands in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle put you close to the action: both the show jumping course and the dressage arena are clearly visible from all levels. A supporting programme accompanies each session and gives first-time visitors clear context for what they're watching. Good to know

  • Dogs are not permitted
  • Popular evening sessions fill early, arriving well before start time is advisable
  • Some outdoor areas around the venue are uncovered, so a warm jacket is useful even for an indoor event

The STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS offers a dedicated children's programme with drawing activities, craft stations, and a petting zoo. Designated family seating areas mean parents with children can follow the competition without having to navigate the main crowd areas. The competitions themselves are for adult riders, but the supporting programme makes a visit workable for younger guests too.

Riders at the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS compete in World Cup classes at CSI5-W, CDI-W, CDI4, CAI-W, and CSI5* level, entry lists and the registration process are available on the official website. Key information for competitors

  • Registration is required via the official entry form (see Entry Lists on the official site)
  • Accommodation near the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle: a range of hotels and guesthouses is available; a curated list is provided on the official website
