The Chiemsee Pferdefestival is a dressage and show jumping tournament and exhibition taking place in September 2026 at the Hotel Gut Ising competition grounds in Gut Ising. This festival combines demanding equestrian sport with a family-friendly market week. The festival welcomes professionals, amateurs, and spectators looking to experience the atmosphere by Lake Chiemsee. Alongside national classes, the tournament features international show jumping competitions up to CSI2*. A diverse supporting programme complements the sporting events.

Show jumping starts at 8:00 AM. In the afternoon, the Isinger Marktwoche opens from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Additional show jumping begins at 4:00 PM, with the last class around 6:00 PM.

Show jumping classes begin at 9:00 AM, with the final class scheduled for approximately 3:00 PM. The Isinger Marktwoche runs from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Sat · September 5
The day starts with show jumping at 8:00 AM. The Isinger Marktwoche is open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. In the evening, a Bavarian party night with the cult band "14 Hoibe" takes place in the festival tent from 7:00 PM.
Sun · September 6
More show jumping classes begin at 8:00 AM. The Isinger Marktwoche is open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Around 2:00 PM, you can see the "Gut Ising Future Champions", a presentation of show jumping foals. At 7:00 PM, an international CSI 2* show jumping class with a jump-off takes place, followed by the "Gut Ising Future Champions" foal auction for show jumping foals around 9:00 PM.

Where does Chiemsee Pferdefestival take place?
The Chiemsee Pferdefestival takes place at the Hotel Gut Ising competition grounds in Gut Ising. The venue is set in the landscape surrounding Lake Chiemsee in Upper Bavaria. You can reach Gut Ising by car via the A8/A93, exit Bernau am Chiemsee. Parking spaces are available on-site, including special spots for horse trailers. If you travel by bus, local lines stop in Bernau am Chiemsee. From there, it's about 5 km to the venue, and a shuttle service is available.
For spectators, the Chiemsee Pferdefestival 2026 offers free entry to the entire grounds. You can experience the exciting competitions and the Isinger Marktwoche in a relaxed atmosphere. There is plenty to discover for those who wish to enjoy the ambience. The venue is largely outdoors, so it is advisable to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
For families, the Chiemsee Pferdefestival provides a special children's programme. Children can look forward to a craft and painting corner in the children's tent. A bouncy castle is available at 10:00 AM, weather permitting. Pony rides are offered Thursday through Saturday between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM at the small riding arena. A Land Rover driving experience for children aged 3 to 14 also starts at 10:00 AM. For children aged 6 to 12, a treasure hunt begins at 3:00 PM, with the meeting point at the bouncy castle.
As a participant in the Chiemsee Pferdefestival 2026, you can expect challenging classes in dressage and show jumping up to CSI2* level. Registration for riders and horses is handled via the festival's official website. For participants needing accommodation, lodgings in the vicinity of Bernau am Chiemsee and Prien am Chiemsee are recommended.
