It is part of the CSI5 Riesenbeck series and consistently draws the world's leading show jumping combinations. For anyone who wants to watch show jumping at five-star level in person, the Surenburg in July is the place to be. Alongside the 5 main competition, the tournament runs concurrent classes at CSI2, CSI3, and CSIYH1 level, keeping the sand busy from Wednesday through Sunday. The CSI5* Riesenbeck takes place at the Surenburg in Riesenbeck, in the western Münsterland region of North Rhine-Westphalia. The facility is one of Germany's most established show jumping venues, with spacious outdoor arenas and the infrastructure to host major international competition. Riesenbeck sits in the gentle landscape north of the Teutoburg Forest, easily reached via the A30 motorway. The nearby towns of Rheine and Ibbenbüren offer options for accommodation and a day out beyond the tournament.

The Surenburg is easiest to reach by car via the A30 motorway, exit Ibbenbüren, then follow the signs to Surenburg. The nearest train station is Ibbenbüren, about 15 km away, from where you can take a shuttle or taxi. If you're arriving with a horse trailer, dedicated parking areas are available on site.
