The Reitsportmesse Gießen 2026 runs across three days, Friday to Sunday, 23–25 October, with doors open 10:00 to 18:00 each day. Both show rings run riding demonstrations and expert presentations throughout all three days. Workshops and talks run alongside the show floor, giving trade visitors and enthusiasts the chance to dig into current topics in equestrian sport. The Reitsportmesse Gießen takes place at Messe Gießen in Gießen, Hesse. The exhibition centre brings all show rings, exhibitor areas, and specialist sections together under one roof across roughly 10,000 m². Gießen sits in the centre of Hesse with direct connections to the national road and rail network, making it reachable from across the region. It is a university city with a compact layout, the main station, city centre, and exhibition grounds are all close together.

By car, take the A5 or A480 motorway to the Gießen-Ost exit and follow signs to the fairground. By train, take an ICE or regional express to Gießen station, then bus line 101 towards Watzenborn-Steinberg – the stop „Messe Gießen" is about 10 minutes away. If you're arriving with a horse trailer, use the north entrance at Gate 3; designated spaces for transporters are signposted. Parking is free, and a shuttle runs from car park P1.
Entry to the Reitsportmesse Gießen 2026 is ticketed, and the fair runs continuous programming in both show rings throughout all three days. Good to know

The Reitsportmesse Gießen plans a children's programme including pony rides and craft stations, the organiser will publish full details on the official website from October 2026 onward. Tickets are only refunded if you provide a valid medical certificate. No refund for simply not attending. Exchanges are possible for a fee of €5.
