What happens at CAVALLUNA?
CAVALLUNA "Colours of Life" runs three performances in Cologne across two days in May 2027.
Sat · Saturday, 2 May
Two performances are scheduled: a matinée at 14:00 and an evening show at 19:00. Doors open one to two hours before curtain — the exact time appears on your ticket. Each show runs approximately two hours plus a 20-minute interval.
Sun · Sunday, 3 May
The final performance begins at 13:00, again with doors opening one to two hours beforehand and the same running time.
Stallführungen (backstage stable tours) can be booked alongside any performance. They take you behind the scenes to meet the horses and cast in person. A Stallführung ticket is only valid in combination with a show ticket for the same day.
Where does CAVALLUNA take place?
CAVALLUNA takes place at LANXESS arena in Cologne, one of Germany's largest multi-purpose indoor arenas. The venue sits in the Deutz neighbourhood on the east bank of the Rhine and is well connected by public transport. The city centre, the cathedral, and the riverfront are all within easy reach for anyone making a day of the trip.

CAVALLUNA is suitable for children from around age 3, according to the organizer. Children under 5 can sit on an adult's lap free of charge at shows in Germany — no separate seat needed. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in line with youth protection rules.
A Pony Petting Area is available as part of the supporting programme, and the Stallführung gives families a chance to get up close with the horses and performers backstage.
CAVALLUNA is a spectator-only format — there is no open entry for riders or horse owners.
Anyone wanting a closer look at the production can book a Stallführung (backstage stable tour), which goes behind the scenes and lets you meet the horses and cast in person. The Stallführung ticket is only valid combined with a show ticket for the same day.
If your ticket is lost or damaged, contact the ticket provider with your proof of purchase. The same applies if the barcode is badly damaged – a torn stub can often be taped back together. If you can't make it, you're allowed to pass the ticket on to someone else.
